A charge of aggravated assault is pending against a 28-year-old man after a stabbing on Whiteshield Crescent, Kamloops RCMP said Wednesday.
A 25-year-old Pritchard man suffered a life-threatening stab to the neck early Monday morning. He was dropped off at the RIH emergency room at 12:30 a.m. by a suspect driving a Ford Explorer.
Police detained the driver when he was found walking barefoot with blood on his clothing. He was later released without charges.
After dozens of interviews, police arrested a 28-year-old who lives in the same apartment as the man who drove the Explorer.
Everyone involved in the incident knew each other, police said.
