Meter mess causes frustration and disbelief

I just want to express our dissatisfaction with BC Hydro.

For a year and a half, we have had our meters mixed up with our neighbour. He has been paying our bill and we have been paying his.

Both of us have contacted BC Hydro numerous times since May of this year. The company still has not solved our billing issue after many emails and phone calls. They told us three weeks ago if we haven’t heard anything back by the end of October to call them.

Seriously, does it take Hydro over six months to fix a billing issue? Our neighbour has been paying very high bills and we have had relatively small bills and worried about the back charging that the company will come up with.

Had a good laugh today when I went to the BC Hydro site and it states:

    “Thanks for contacting B.C. Hydro.

“As we’re dealing with a higher than normal number of customer inquiries, it may take us longer than usual to get back to you. Thanks for your patience – we’re committed to helping you as quickly as possible.”

Sign me a frustrated BC Hydro customer.
