    Mark Rogers

A woman is reunited with her dog after a fire at a townhouse complex at McKinley Court Friday afternoon. She is comforted by a neighbour as her boyfriend looks on.

Much of the back end of a townhouse unit was destroyed by fire Friday afternoon at McKinley Court.

A man and woman living there were not at home at the time the fire broke out. The woman was relieved to find her small pet dog was not harmed.

Neighbours speculated that the fire might be related to a dryer vent, but firefighters had not yet determined the cause.
