I am physically sick to think that the life of dogs has been put ahead of the safety of our community.
My mother was a marathon runner who enjoyed nothing more that her daily walk when two German shephard dogs brutally assaulted her, working as a team and left her in the hospital to endure painful skin grafts, post traumatic stress disorder, permanent disfigurement and the inability to enjoy the thing she enjoyed most, walking.
They attacked her in much the same way these two pit bulls did, a a team. Thankfully for my family, those dogs were put down.
Since when does the life of an animal come ahead of the safety of our community. Shame on you bylaws services.
I would never want to see a person, never mind another animal, to have to go through the pain and suffering of my mom.
