KSO chamber show in new venue

The Kamloops Symphony’s Daily News Chamber Music Series moves to a new venue for Saturday night’s performance.

A trio of familiar faces to KSO fans will perform the program, Elegy, on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the Alumni Theatre at Thompson Rivers University’s Clocktower Building.

Violinist Cvetozar Vutev, cellist Martin Kratky and pianist Naomi Cloutier will present three late romantic piano trios composed within 10 years of each other.

They include Sergei Rachmaninov’s elegiaque, Antonin Dvorak’s Dumky Trio and a piece by Johannes Brahms.

Tickets are available at Kamloops Live! Box Office by phoning 250-374-5483, online at kamloopslive.ca or at the door.  Tickets are $24 for adults, $18 for students and $10 for children.
