This past Friday I took part in the Haunted Kamloops Tour, a guided walk offered by the Kamloops Museum. Sylvia, our knowledgeable and funny tour guide, along with the talented actors of the Laughing Stock theatre group, made Kamloops history come alive! We were entertained and occasionally scared while we visited the Pioneer and Pleasant streets cemeteries, the Provincial Cemetery for Old Men, the courthouse and the museum. I had no idea that the green spaces on Lorne Street and Sixth Avenue were cemeteries! For $15, this tour was excellent value. There are more guided walks to take place in November.
