Regarding Nancy Flood’s letter (Inks Lake Not Devoid Of Life, The Daily News, Nov. 5). As a biologist, you must be aware of how many ponds, lakes and swamps there are in this area. News flash — birds have wings and if they are not happy where they are, they can fly a short distance to a new location.
