Police swarm Dallas after gunshot heard

Dallas residents had an alarming holiday evening on Nov. 11 when reports of gunshots sent police swarming the neighbourhood.

Just after 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, police received reports of a shot fired at a home on Kipp Road.

A man and woman were found uninjured in the undamaged home when police arrived. Officers took the man away but charges were not immediately recommended.

A firearm was seized, but police did not describe what kind of weapon was used in the incident.

Police are investigating further, according to a press release.

Calls to RCMP were not immediately returned on Monday.
