The Gur Singh/Bill Dalin men’s doubles tournament is scheduled for the Kamloops Tennis Centre’s bubble this weekend.
This will be the 26th time that the local association has palyed host to the tournament.
Players from the Okanagan, Salmon Arm, Merritt and Kamloops have entered in the 50-player tournament that will feature a round-robin format.
Matches are scheduled to begin Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at 9 a.m., and Sunday at 9 a.m.

Riptech Diving is holding BIG SPLASH today, 7 p.m., at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre.
It will be held in the diving well and the first prize is a $25 gift certificate from Earls Restaurant.
As the news release reads: “Everyone can SPLASH so don’t be shy and bring your bathing suits.”

Ty Nielsen set up four goals Tuesday night as the Jani-King Stars dumped the Big Guns Energy Warriors 10-2 in a KMHA midget recreation game.
Graham Kemp, Dallas Stachoski and Shayne Stachoski had two goals each for the winners, while Lucas Kemp, Lucas Colgan, Kyle Patters and Jordan Moore added singles. Kemp also had two assists, as did Moore. Cole Freere and Robin Proust shared the goaltending.
Cody Ziola and Matt Hans scored for the Warriors, who used Nic Bernier and Adam Passmore in goal.

Chris Sheppard of Kamloops, the back-to-back Canadian champion, is scheduled to be in the field at the Daryl-Evans Canadian Cyclo-Cross championship and the B.C. Grand Prix at the South Surrey Athletic Park in South Surrey on Saturday and Sunday.
Sheppard, 40, is Canada’s highest-ranked rider in the UCI World Rankings as he guns for his third straight national title.
He will get stiff competition from Geoff Kabush, 36, of Courtenay, who was on Canada’s 2012 Olympic mountain bike team.
Also in the field is Catharine Pendrel of Kamloops, a four-time Canadian mountain bike champion and two-time and reigning UCI World Cup mountain bike champ.
Cyclo-cross features road and mountain bike racing. It is held on a closed circuit loop featuring climbs, obstacles that requires dismounts, mud traps, and many other exciting features.
