Kamloops one of top spots for Red Nose rides

Only Langley-Surrey surpassed Kamloops in the number of Operation Red Nose rides made so far this season.

Langley-Surrey residents have taken Red Nose rides 392 times since the service started up on Nov. 30. Kamloops residents have ridden 350 times.

Prince George is close behind Kamloops, at 344 rides to date.

The service runs through the holiday season on weekends until New Year’s Eve, from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. Those dates are December 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, 29 and 31. To get a safe ride home, call 250-372-5110.

Volunteers can still sign on to help as well. Call Katie at 250-320-0650.
