Be a miracle worker, says blood services agency

Canadian Blood Services is looking for a few ‘miracle workers’ over the holidays.

The agency has launched its annual Bleed and Feed campaign to increase blood donations while also propping up the stocks of the Kamloops Food Bank.

Blood donor clinics are underway Tuesday, from noon to 7 p.m., and Wednesday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Calvary Community Church, 1205 Rogers Way.

Kamloops residents can book a donation appointment by visiting blood.ca or by calling 1-888-236-6283.

Donors are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for the food bank.
