Kamloops Mounted Patrol produces picture promotion

For the person who has everything, the Kamloops Mounted Patrol has come up with a suggestion that’s bound to be new.

The group has produced a DVD with 580 of its favourite photos of the patrol doing its thing around town.

Spokesman Rick Wanless said Friday the discs are available by donation at the North Shore Canadian Tire gas bar.

In addition to the patrol members and horses, the photos capture kids and other locals as well as visitors. And the photos are free for downloading and printing, he said.

Wanless himself took most of the pictures. The DVD idea sprang from requests from people who were having difficulty downloading pictures from the patrol’s website.

Wanless suggested the DVDs would make great stocking stuffers.

And supplies are not limited, as the group can always make more if the stock at the store runs out.
