    Canadian traditions should be respected

Regarding the word God in the national anthem. The problem with Canada and some people is they don’t understand the word God has been there from Day One.

Also, the Lord’s Prayer was a daily saying in our schools. Christmas and “Merry Christmas” has been around longer than most Canadians. If you take a look at what is happening in our country today, it is time to start getting these things back to where they should be.

If there are people who have moved here and don’t agree with our wording or traditions, then maybe they should move back to where they came from. If they are true Canadians, they should accept traditions.

Canada is a great country and we should not bow to every group that wants to change our traditional ways. I hope that everyone has a Merry Christmas and remember what it is all about.
