Police seek man seen smoking on morning of murder

A man who stood smoking in front of 580 Dalgleish Drive may hold the key to the murder of a teenager on Dec. 5.

Kamloops RCMP have issued a press release, saying people in the area have said they saw the man smoking at about 7 a.m. They are asking anyone who may have seen him to come forward.

CJ Fowler, 16, was last seen leaving Royal Inland Hospital at 2:50 a.m. Her body was found at the end of Grandview Terrace at 11:30 a.m.

Investigators have concentrated their efforts on the 500 block of Dalgliesh. They are looking for anyone who saw anything in that area between 1 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Dec. 5, Const. Bernie Ward said.
