No serious injuries were reported among the “numerous” accidents emergency crews responded too during and after a snowstorm Friday morning.
RCMP Const. Bernie Ward said many of the incidents involved fender benders caused by motorists driving too fast. Many more vehicles slid off roads and into ditches.
Kamloops Fire and Rescue assistant chief Les Noel said a reported five-car pile up on Highway 5A turned out to be two separate accidents. One involved three vehicles, the other two.
