On Saturday morning we watched a hockey game between the Kamloops Pee-Wee girls and another team from out of Kamloops, and noticed that the other side had two or three players much older and way more advanced than our side.
I was told that small towns were allowed this advantage because they had so few players to pick from and the object is not to win or lose but how you play the game. Bull! If you know you have no chance when you start you are not going to do your best.
All teams should be allowed to have the same advantage. I may not know a lot about hockey but I do know a stacked deck when I see one and it is giving the wrong message.
I don’t know who makes these rules but it’s so not cool!
