This is in reply to the KDN letter 'Darkness makes crossing dangerous.’ I agree with the call for lights at each intersection and overhead. I agree that you certainly can't see someone in a darker hoodie and with the hoodie pulled up, when they are nighttime crossing at one of Tranquille Road’s dark and unlit crosswalks.
At least for the safety of the pedestrian involved, they should carry a flashlight and let motorists know they are crossing, if they choose to dress in dark and non-reflective clothing.
