An an air quality advisory issued for Kamloops Tuesday evening has been lifted.
"Pollutant concentrations and the associated health risk are now lower due to changing weather conditions. Levels in Kamloops began to drop at 4 a.m. this morning and have now returned to normal winter concentrations," said Ralph Adams, air quality meteorologist with the Ministry of Environment.
Reduction in both outdoor burning and use of wood burning stoves will contribute to cleaner air, he added.
