Ajax would make up for job losses at Domtar

While it is an unfortunate reality for the 125 Domtar employees, and our Kamloops economy that will directly take a hit as of March 2013, there still remains a consolation prize for the Kamloops economy that's in the workings, in my opinion. This is the Ajax Mine offering of 350 plus jobs which is currently undergoing an involved and detailed approval process, apparently.

Those that remain opposed or are just sitting on the fence in Kamloops with the Ajax Mine in proposal have just been handed an economic influencing and balancing factor to the pile, for consideration.
