    Buses, trucks make snow mess

I live on Laurier Drive. The City transit bus comes up Sifton Avenue and makes a huge turn on to Laurier. The bus hits the windrow and pushes the windrow onto the sidewalk. Indeed the bus tire marks can be seen driving on the sidewalk!  The City garbage truck runs right through the windrow and it too, pushes the windrow onto the sidewalk. In my opinion, the drivers of these vehicles show little concern about what they are doing.

I used to take pride in keeping the sidewalk in front of my home cleaned. Now I have given up. I am a senior with a back problem and no longer willing to clean up the City’s vehicles’ messes. Don’t send a bylaw officer to my home to enforce the bylaw about keeping the sidewalks in front of your home clean.Send City staff to clean up their own mess.
