A 40-year-old Kamloops woman was arrested Wednesday afternoon in connection with a high-profile home invasion on Kemano Street at 1:20 a.m. the same day.
Officers spotted her going into a B.C. government office on the North Shore, and detained her without incident, Kamloops RCMP said.
She was held overnight pending a court appearance on Thursday. Police have recommended charges of break-and-enter and disguising face with intent.
Three masked men and one masked woman — armed with bear spray and "edged" weapons — forced their way into the home and stole a variety of household items.
The woman, who is known to the people who live there, lost her mask during an altercation, police said.
