The TRU WolfPack men’s soccer team is getting ready to hold its annual spring player evaluations.
The session is scheduled for April 6, 9 a.m., to 4:30 p.m., at Hillside Stadium.

Mike Smith’s BA Dawson Blacktop rink defeated Scott Decap’s Hub International crew 7-5 in Sun Life Super League action Monday at Kamloops Curling Club.
It was Decap’s second loss of the season, but the rink (13-2-1) remains first in the 10-team league. Smith improved to 7-8-1 and is sixth.
Brent Yamada’s Kamloops Office Systems topped Kevin Ihlen’s Tim Hortons/Coldstone group 8-2 and moved into a tie for second. Yamada (11-5-0) is tied with Darren Nelson’s TRU WolfPack (11-4-0), while Ihlen is ninth at 2-12-1.
Nelson lost 4-2 to Corryn Brown’s Rivershore Ram rink, which is getting ready for junior nationals. Brown now is 8-6-1, and fifth.
Rick Reimer and SMS Equipment split their Monday games, beating Bob Holden’s KPMG 7-2 and losing 8-6 to
Grant Olsen’s Grassroots. Reimer (9-6-0) is fourth, while Holden (6-9-1) and Olsen (6-8-1) are tied for seventh.
Olsen had beaten Amanda Russet’s Wrabel Brothers Construction 9-0 earlier Monday. Russet is 1-14-0.

The 2013 Baseball Convention is scheduled for Feb. 8-10 at the Surrey Sheraton Guildford Hotel in Surrey.

The Kamloops Classics are playing host to their annual regional level swim meet — the Valentine Splash
Invitational — on Saturday and Sunday at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre.
The meet is expected to attract about 200 swimmers, all ages 10 and under and fairly new to swimming, from the Okanagan, Salmon Arm, Williams Lake and Kamloops.
They’re in the pool Saturday starting at 1:15 a.m., and Sunday at 9 a.m.
