Bone fragments found at an excavation site Thursday in Chase are "non-human in nature," police said.
A contractor was working on private property on Shuswap Avenue at about noon when the discovery was made, Cpl. Dan Moskaluk said.
Police maintained the site for an investigation.
"The Chase RCMP has now concluded it's investigation in this matter," Moskaluk said.
