    Police seek possible witness in pedestrian accident

    Police are hoping a witness will come forward after a pedestrian was struck by a car late Wednesday night.

    The collision involved a 1989 red Chevrolet Cavalier and a 55-year-old Lytton man at around 11:20 p.m. on Victoria Street.

    RCMP want to speak to the driver a of second vehicle that stopped momentarily, manoeuvred around the mishap, then continued westbound.

    Anyone with information is asked to call the Kamloops RCMP traffic section at 250-828-3000.
