City’s ‘world-class facilities’ give Lions plenty to roar about

They love it so much they’re coming back.

The B.C. Lions football club has signed a two-year extension to its summer training camp at Hillside Stadium in Kamloops, meaning the team will return this summer and again in 2014.

“Our time in Kamloops has been nothing short of amazing,” team president and CEO Dennis Skulsky said in a press release.

“World-class facilities, outstanding corporate support and the dedication of Lions fans in the Interior make this decision very easy.”

The players return in May to prepare for the start of their June 2 camp. They have been training in Kamloops in the off-season since 2012.
