Value of smiling can’t be ignored

The value of a smile. It costs nothing, creates much. Enriches those who receive it without impoverishing those who give it. Happens in a flash and can last a lifetime.

No one is so rich they don’t need one and no one so poor they can’t give one. It creates happiness in your home, goodwill in your business. Encouragement to the weary, hope to the discouraged and sunshine to the sad.

It can’t be bought, begged, borrowed or stolen and is no good unless given away. Smiling is infectious; you catch it like the flu. When someone smiled at me today, I started smiling too.

I passed around the corner and someone saw my grin. Then they smiled back I realized I’d passed it onto them.
I thought about that smile and realized its worth. A single smile just like mine could travel round the world. So if you feel a smile beginning, don’t leave it undetected.

Let’s start an epidemic quick and get the world infected. A smile is quite a funny thing; it wrinkles up your face.

And when it’s gone you’ll never find its secret hiding place.

But far more wonderful it is to see what smiles can do. You smile at one, they smile at you and so one smile makes two.

They smile at someone since you smiled and then that one smiles back. And that one smiles in truth, till you just cannot keep track. And since a smile can do such good, improving people’s faces. Let’s smile and smile and not forget, you’ll surely get one back.
