Manny Jules, of the Tk'emlups Indiand Band, has been inducted into the Aboriginal Business Hall of Fame.
Jules, who is chief commissioner and CEO of the First Nations Tax Commission, was inducted this week at Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business's annual gala in Toronto.
Jules has devoted much of his energy leading a drive to establish First Nations fiscal institutions.
He retired as chief of the Tk'emlups band in 2000.
The hall of fame "recognizes Aboriginal persons whose business leadership has made a substantive contribution to the economic and social well-being of Aboriginal people over a lifetime."
