Stabbing suspects still on the loose: police

Three men involved in a stabbing are still free and police is once again asking for the public's help.

On Jan. 24, a 27-year-old Kamloops man was in front of the Mobil 1 Lube Express at 780 Columbia Street West between 1 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. when three males in their late teens assaulted him.

Police were alerted when the man was brought to Royal Inland Hospital with serious stab wounds to his abdomen.

One of the suspects was described as approximately five feet 11 inches tall with an average build and a military style haircut.

He was wearing a black baseball cap and a black jacket.

The other two suspects were of similar height and weight and were also wearing black clothing.

The victim survived emergency surgery. His condition is unknown.

Anyone who witnessed the assault or saw the suspects between Pemberton Terrace and McGill Street at the time is asked to call the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-222-TIPS.
