Royal Inland Hospital Foundation CEO Heidi Coleman, left, receives a cheque Tuesday from Kamloops Firefighters Association and the International Association of Firefighters local 913 with Kamloops representatives Chris Davies, Ryan Cail and Shawn Davidson handing over the funds outside RIH. The money from various fundraisers, including the firefighters calendars, will benefit RIH with the purchase of a much needed additional ventilator to aid in the treatment and recovery of RIH patients. Others funds were donated to the B.C. Professional Firefighters Burn Building for a facility to be built for burn survivors and their families that will be a clean, private, sterile environment for their recovery.
