An annual competition has placed Interior Health among the best employers in B.C.
In all, the website canadastop100.com named 60 winners in B.C. for 2013, ranging from 1-800-GOT-JUNK to Whistler Blackcomb.
Employers submit an application and are judged on several criteria, including physical workplace, benefits, communication, training and community involvement.
“We are very proud of our people,” Interior Health Board Chair Norman Embree said in a press release.
“This is a large organization with more than 18,000 employees, spanning about 215,000 km. The heart of Interior Health is truly our staff and the care they provide each day.”
