A group of women supporting the One Billion Rising movement got plenty of attention from passing motorists with this sign and a dance afterward at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in front of the downtown Kamloops library. The event coincides with Valentine’s Day and the 15th anniversary of The Vagina Monologues. One Billion Rising raises awareness about rape and other violent crimes men commit against women.
