A Métis celebration took place Wednesday in Linda Comeau's Grade 2 at Dallas elementary school. Students have been learning about the Metis culture and their studies included a celebration and a presentation to parents. In the photo, Métis elder Dave Baron is "sashing" Comeau to honour her for teaching Métis culture to her class.
