What a great letter regarding the cost overrun of the bike path or multi-use path, or maybe the Gateway to Downtown Path. For this amount of money it should at least have a title associated with it. I could not agree with you more. It was quite a joke seeing the large board at the interchange advising when the completion date would be, but never came. I guess if you stretch out a project, you can justify lining someone’s pocket. It is irrelevant that upper levels of government chipped in. Am I to assume that a bid on a project can be changed just by saying, “Oh well it took longer than we thought.”
