The library is hosting a resumé workshop aimed to help job seekers perfect their resumé writing.
Kevin Watt from the Open Door Group will host the event, during which participants will learn what details should be included in a resumé.
“We do have patrons coming into the library to do their resumés and this is just an extension,” said Joelle Samson, acting head of outreach services at the Kamloops Library.
Watt has been creating and hosting workshops in Kamloops for more than 15 years. The Open Door Group, working together with the Kamloops Employment Service Network, provides employment services to Kamloops and the surrounding area.
The seminar is Tuesday, March 5, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and while it’s free, seating is limited. Seats may be reserved by calling 250-372-5145 or by talking to a library staff member.
