Hockey players go bowling for kids in fundraiser

They can stickhandle their way around a bowling alley, too.

The Kamloops Blazers are participating in this year’s Bowl for Kids Sake (formerly Strikes for Tykes).

Blazers players Colin Smith, Dylan Willick, Joel Edmundson and many others have volunteered bowl on Monday, Feb. 25, at 5:30 p.m. at Bowlertime in Kamloops.

Four teams will participate in the event, which benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kamloops and region.

Pledges will be at the Blazers Corner Store during Wednesday’s game or online at blazerhockey.com.

Four spots will be available for fans, aged 10 to 15, to enter to bowl with the Blazers.
