    Another successful Christmas gift-wrapping fundraiser for Cancer Society

    The Cancer Society has completed a third successful Christmas gift-wrapping fundraiser. With so many people donating time and materials, we can once again confirm that every penny donated will go directly to Cancer Society programs.

    Aberdeen Mall provided us with space to wrap, as well as paper and ribbons. Nearly one hundred volunteers donated hours of their time to ensure that every gift looks professionally wrapped. Many stores in the mall donated boxes for the gifts and this year WaMaCo and SportMart also contributed to the boxes we needed.

    This is truly a community effort and we celebrate your generosity in helping us raise a total of $12,500 this year. This money will be used to support programs in the Interior including Cancer Connection and Camp Goodtimes.

    Thank you to all who participated in this successful endeavor. See you again next year.
