Computers missing after break-in at Boston Bar school

School children in Boston Bar are making do without computers after a break-in last week at the school.

Nine laptop computers and a projector were stolen some time between 9 p.m. on Feb. 19 and 6 a.m. on Feb. 20, RCMP said Tuesday.

"This is a crime that directly impacts kids and their ability to learn," said Const. Tracy Wolbeck.

"This can be very traumatic to kids, particularly young kids who are left feeling like a victim because of what has happened to their school. School is supposed to be the safest place away from home for children and this really upsets that balance for them."

If you have information call the Boston Bar detachment at 604-867-9333 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
