Kamloops curling team's fifth blogs about Sochi adventures

On the eve of the world curling championships in Sochi, Russia, the Kamloops teens representing Canada are being chronicled by the team's fifth, Cathlia Ward.

The girl has been blogging since Feb. 13 as the team gets ready for its first round-robin game on Thursday.

In Wednesday's entry for Memoirs of a Fifth, she says:

"The actual arena took our breath away. The ice is just beautiful and the stands are huge. This is definitely the big leagues."

She also has plenty of pictures of the team and the venue.

You can read the blog here.
