Job seekers in Barriere might want to check out the B.C. Jobs Fair when it comes to town on Tuesday, March 5.
The event — designed to match employers with people looking for work — takes place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Fall Fair Hall.
Employers taking part in the fair include AinsworthEngineered Canada, B.C. Ambulance Service, the Investors Group, Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing, Maple Leaf Loading and Tolko Industries.
Exhibitors include the Barriere Employment Service Centre, B.C. Construction Association, the Centre for Arts and Technology in Kelowna, B.C. Parks and Public Works Groups, and the Skilled Trades Employment Program.
An interactive mobile booth will provide information on job trends, career development and skills training.
