More than a dozen Greyhound bus passengers took a wild ride near McBride on Saturday night.
At around 11:45 p.m., the bus carrying 18 riders eastbound along Highway 16 near Dome Creek lost control, skidded off the road, rolled onto its side and down an embankment.
Three passengers suffered minor injuries, according to an RCMP report. Two were taken to McBride Hospital.
The remaining passengers were taken to a highway work yard to await a second bus and finish their journeys.
RCMP and the Commercial Vehicle and Safety Enforcement office are investigating. Police say poor weather conditions may have played a factor. A mechanical inspection will be part of the crash analysis.
RCMP are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to please contact the McBride RCMP detachment at 250-569-2255.
