    Education needed on battery recycling

I read an article, deep in the paper, about how people are putting things like batteries etc. in the recycling bins. Obviously there are two reasons. Given the benefit of my doubt some don't know of the proper items that can be recycled and most still just don't care, “Hey it’s a garbage bin, right, doesn’t matter”. I'm sorry but maybe in each issue a small section of the front/second page listing out the differences. When something’s out of general sight it is out of mind. Some people can't get to a proper recycle bin or garbage dump for one reason or another for proper disposal, as no one to help or disabled. If you don't put it in people faces they don't see it. Yes people do skip articles they see as not interesting.
