As of April 1, local public transit service in Cache Creek will come to an end while Ashcroft and Clinton will see a service reduction.
The changes are due to the Village of Cache Creek discontinuing its funding to the local transit services. In response to the loss and the increasing costs of operation, Ashcroft and Clinton have had to change their service schedule.
Public transit service between the two villages will now operate three times daily on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with no service on statutory holidays. However, residents living within the Ashcroft and Clinton village boundaries are still able to arrange for transportation by calling the transit operator.
Though the public transit service has been affected, no changes are being made to the Health Connections service. The Health Connections service will continue to operate on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
