A woman who flipped her car on Columbia Street while drunk was hit with a $1,300 fine and forbidden from driving for a year.
Laurie Ann Fullerton pleaded guilty Monday to driving with a blood-alcohol level over .08.
Prosecutor Carol Hawes said RCMP was called on Feb. 10 to the scene of a rollover accident involving one car.
Fullerton was trapped in the car. She was extracted by Kamloops Fire and Rescue firefighters using the Jaws of Life. She was taken to Royal Inland Hospital, but suffered no injuries and was released.
RCMP took a breath sample from her after she left RIH. Hawes said she blew .2 and .19 on a breathalyzer.
Defence lawyer Don Campbell called it a "matter of significant embarrassment for Fullerton.
