Westsyde Road slated for $1.5-million makeover

Portions of Westsyde Road that haven't been paved in more than 20 years will get a $1.5-million makeover this summer.

Dawson Construction has been award the contract, which will see about 10.5 kilometres resurfaced between the City's northern boundary and the north end of Black Pines.

The repairs will improve safety on Westsyde Road and make the ride more enjoyable, a press release said Tuesday.

Work will begin this summer and is schedule to be finished by the end of September.
