Kamloops MP Cathy McLeod announces results from her free mail-out flyer — 500 responses from about 40,000 residences.
Apparently, 98.5 per cent of her constituents do what I do . . . throw it in the trash.
Three hundred people who are mislead into thinking Canada Post is losing or will lose money say they could go with every other day delivery.
Victory, cries Cathy. That’s 60 per cent. She says she will tell Canada Post of these results as an accurate reflection of the feelings of her riding.
Three hundred people reflect the feelings of 80,000 residents?
Only a conservative would insult our intelligence in this manner.
Since 2008, postal workers made $550 million in profits for the public while providing five-day-a-week delivery. During the same period, McLeod and her fellow Conservatives have racked up $145 billion in deficits.
Cathy should listen to postal workers more and polls less.
