Last Thursday, we hosted the 5th annual ALS Golf Tournament of Hope at the Dunes at Kamloops.
The funds raised go toward the services provided by the ALS Society of B.C. to
enhance the quality of life for those living with ALS in B.C.
As well, 30 per cent of the proceeds go to the Kamloops Endowed Fund to provide high tech communication devices for those who have lost their voice to ALS.
There were 135 golfers who played and 160 people attended the post tournament dinner.
The course was in excellent condition. The staff at the Dunes were outstanding and professional. It is because of this outstanding service that Kamloops can proudly boast it is the Tournament Capital of Canada.
Thank you to our sponsors, volunteers and golfers for making this day a huge success.
