Terry Sullivan’s recent comment that people here are quite responsible in school zones is a bit of a stretch to say the least.

I have been driving school bus for School District 73 for 25 years and travel through five or six school zones twice a day. I watch people travelling anywhere from 50 km/h to 80 km/h in a 30-kilometre zone throughout the school day.
The only school zone that works is the one by Arthur Hatton elementary, and that is because it has the wide speed bumps on Schubert Drive.
