Frick and Frack defeated RCC FC 4-3 in Kamloops Recreational Soccer League 45-plus action on Friday.
Goal scorers for FF were Lorne Rowe, Phil Read, with two, and Christian Gayfer. Darryl Mccaskill, Ken Spivak and Al Mostyk were on the board for RCC.
Phil Read and Harold Hampel split the time in goal for FF in this playoff preview. Chris Butcher went the distance in goal for RCC.
RCC bounced back on Sunday with a 4-1 victory against NRI Distribution.
RCC had goals from Keith Callander, Rob Piva, with two, and Tony Gervasi.
Dave Spendlove broke the shutout for NRI.
Craig Galbraith had two goals for Kamcon on Sunday but it wasn’t enough as B.C. Rivers Consulting took home the 3-2 victory.
Bosko Trklja, Danny Nikolic and Terry Cain scored for Rivers.
In 30-plus action Sunday, Jensen Law blanked Piva Financial 2-0.
Eric Davis and Justin Cartwright had the goals, while Mark Orr went the distance in goal for the shutout.
In another Sunday game, Andre’s Telus shut out Fresh is Best 4-0.

The Kamloops Rugby Club Raiders first division men lost 31-15 to Abbotsford on Saturday.
Rory McKerchar and Brandon Kicia had the tries for the firsts, with Kicia also booting a conversion and a penalty.
In the second division game, Kamloops defeated Abbotsford 38-17.
Jamie Rizema, Trevor Miyazake, Harald Valentiner, Steve Thomson and Kicia made the Kamloops tries, with Jordan Sullivan adding five conversions and a penalty.

The Jardine’s Blazers Bantam Tier 1 hockey team finalized its roster on the weekend and won two of three exhibition games.
Jake Walter, Zac Austin, Garrett Ewert, Sol Seibel, Jackson Caller, Jonny Ludvig, Seth Bafaro, Matthew Facchinelli, Brendan Mongey, Ty Kolle, Tyler Ward, Nik Sourtzis, Ryan Chyzowski, Brendan Semchuk, Bennett Hunter, Max Patterson and Curt Doyle will represent the Blazers in 2013-14.
In weekend action, the Blazers locked up victories over the Richmond Blues (10-0) and Abbotsford (11-1), before losing 3-1 to Kelowna’s Tier 1 squad.

The under-10 Kamloops Rattlers field lacrosse team defeated Pentiction 12-1 on Sunday.
Connor Barrett had three goals and an assist to lead the Rattlers.
Jax Anderson, Ryan Watson and Millan Webster all had a pair of goals for Kamloops and Caleb Campbell, Seamus Bankier and Thomas Kenzie had singles.
Kade Deacon-Borden was in goal for the Rattlers.

The South Kamloops Titans senior girls volleyball team finished fifth in the 48-team UBC High School tournament on the weekend.
The Titans won their three round-robin matches, beating the North Vancouver-Handsworth Royals (25-19, 21-25, 15-10), the Vancouver-York House Tigers (25-16, 24-26, 15-6), and the Surrey-Earl Marriott Mariners (25-23, 15-25, 15-11).
The Titans moved into a crossover match, where they defeated the West Vancouver Highlanders 25-8, 25-21. South Kam advanced to a quarterfinal against the Kelowna Owls, losing a heartbreaker, 25-22, 23-25, 16-14.
South Kam outside hitter Mieke DuMont was named a tournament all-star.
The Titans are scheduled to play host to the Kelowna-Rutland Voodoos on Wednesday, 5 p.m.

Jason White of Sun Peaks took 12th at the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series’s season-ending Pinty’s 250 at Kawartha Speedway in Fraserville, Ont., on Sunday.
The result left White eighth in the series points standings. His brother, Jim, also drove in Fraserville, and finished 15th. Ryley Siebert of Williams Lake took 10th.
Scott Steckly of Milverton, Ont., won the race and took the points title.
