Frick and Frack moved into a Kamloops Recreational Soccer League 45-plus semifinal with a 1-0 victory over RCC FC on Wednesday evening.
Christian Gayfer posted the shutout, and Mark McDaniel deflected in the game’s only goal with eight minutes remaining. Chris Butcher was in goal for RCC.
Frick and Frack is set to play B.C. Rivers Consulting on Saturday morning.
Duffy’s Pub, meanwhile, defeated NRI Distribution 3-2 in another 45-plus playoff game.
Bill Frymire had two goals for Duffy’s, and Wade Ressler also scored in the victory. Pete Grinberg was the winning goalkeeper.
Luis Adamo and Kevin Barden scored for NRI, which had Duncan Kerr in goal.
In a 30-plus game earlier in the week, Paolo Munegatto posted the shutout and Chris Long scored twice in Andre’s Telus’s 4-0 victory over Fresh Is Best. Ryan Filek and Richard Kanyangu also scored in the victory.

The Kamloops Adapted Sports Association will showcase wheelchair basketball, wheelchair tennis and handcycling at its official launch on Oct. 5.
The new multi-sport club is hoping to provide adapted sport opportunities for both people with disabilities and anyone interested in adapted sport.
KASA will hold a beginner wheelchair basketball session beginning Oct. 3 and currently offers wheelchair tennis on Tuesday nights. Integrated spin classes are offered by KASA at the Tournament Capital Centre.

The Kamloops Track and Field Club is looking for volunteer coaches for its indoor programs this winter.
The Track Rascals (for children between six and eight years old) and the Junior
Development Program (for youth between nine and 12 years old) are both looking to fill coaching vacancies.
