After 2½ years, the Stout House closed its doors on Aug. 31.
That’s a difficult thing to write, but what is going to be even more difficult is saying goodbye.
It’s hard to find the words to express the true feeling of friendship that we have for all of our customers and staff.
Thank you very much for everything.
So many of you have supported us on a regular basis and all of you made us feel like we didn’t just have a customer, but a family member.
Even though we’ll continue to live in Kamloops, we’ll miss the connection we had with you through the restaurant.
We made it through the first year and you folks supported us from Day 1.
A lot of you came and tried us out after we took over from Mr. Mikes.
You did more than support us; you welcomed us back with open arms and compliments on how much more you enjoyed your visits. You went on and on about how you loved our changes to the interior and the food.
All of us thank you for your support and wish you all the best.
